After the global catastrophe in 2012 everyone who survived will need some special skills and tools that people in our time don’t usually have. I am talking about killing devices to hunt and to protect yourself. When the electricity and all new technologies are gone people will need to use some primitive techniques to survive.
KILLING DEVICES
There are several killing devices that you can construct to help you obtain small game to help you survive.
The rabbit stick, the spear, the bow and arrow, and the sling are such devices.
RABBIT STICK
One of the simplest and most effective killing devices is a stout stick as long as your arm, from fingertip to shoulder, called a “rabbit stick.” You can throw it either overhand or sidearm and with considerable force. It is best thrown so that it flies sideways, increasing the chance of hitting the target. It is very effective against small game that stops and freezes as a defense.

As you probably know human being can survive an average of three days without the intake of water. A typical person will lose 2-3 liters of water per day under ordinary conditions, and more in hot, dry, or cold weather. So after water in the storage is gone you will need to use some special water treatments to survive. Remember: after any disaster water becomes the most important factor of your survival (especially after global catastrophe Dec 2012).
Safety Tip
Treat all water of uncertain quality before using it for drinking, food washing or preparation, washing dishes, brushing teeth, or making ice. In addition to having a bad odor and taste, contaminated water can contain microorganisms (germs) that cause diseases such as dysentery, cholera, typhoid, and hepatitis.

Most of Canada fares rather well during or after the coming pole shift, and depending upon its altitude will fare better after the pole shift than before, due to the climate changes. Canada in the main is not criss-crossed with earthquake faults of active volcanoes, and thus suffers less from the direct effects of earthquakes and exploding volcanoes during the pole shift.
Canada will be positioned above the equator in a temperate zone after the pole shift, in a warmer strata than at present.

According to one of the researching sources the entire Australian continent will be under the water and nobody will be able survive during the Polar shift in Australia.
However according to another source Australia: only western 2/3 of the continent will go under the water. This means practically that the eastern 1/3 along with New Zealand will benefit from this, raising slightly out of the water, gaining land above where the melting ice caps will place sea level within two years after the pole shift. The eastern half of Australia and New Zealand benefit from this plate movement, lifting up as India is plunged under the Himalayas. Thus, even with the rising seas from the melting poles, the mountains in eastern Australia and New Zealand will allow for safe living areas.
