If you believe that global catastrophe is going to happen in Dec 2012 you better take idea of building your own bunker seriously.
An underground bunker will protect you and your family from natural and manmade disasters.
This advises will be useful for you.
• Use bricks or concrete to build the walls. But remember that concrete is expensive and concrete bunkers are prone to leaking and molding unless you have a proper vapor barrier on all sides of the walls and foundation and the roof.
• Make the walls out of sandbags (or similar) and make sure that you put good strong posts every few feet
• Walls needs to be covered in plastic sheeting or polyethylene or both (on the outside for a vapor barrier to prevent moisture from entering in)
• On the roof you need to put a layer of vapor proof sheeting (like plastic sheeting or polyethylene), the logs (8 inch diameter) then straw for insulation then more vapor proof sheeting. And finally a layer of dirt.
• On the roof you need to put at least 4 feet of packed dirt as a radiation shield
• On the floor is a layer of plastic and polyethylene sheeting. The floor frame goes on top of that; the floor frame is packed with straw. Plywood goes on top of the frame and is screwed to the frame with woods screws. Make sure the whole frame is wrapped in polyethylene sheeting and plastic sheeting.
• Put silicone where the floor and the walls meet with
• For the sewer you can use a pipe running from the toilet into a big pit with a lid on it and a pipe coming out of the lid with a fly screen on
• Build the door for the bunker that can be locked or barred from the inside
• Don’t build the bunker right in front of your house. Whether you have a bunker in case of global catastrophe in 2012, tornado or bomb, it can’t do you much good if it is too far to be convenient. Think about it: people that place their bunker in front of the house, next to the road are basically advertising that they have a bunker and probably have emergency items to last them in the case of an emergency. Advertising your bunker to the neighbors is fine if you plan on letting them inside but if you don’t, you are just asking for trouble. Most of the people in extreme situation can become violent and unpredictable.

I don’t really know what is going to happen in 2012.
I do however know that the government control all the media, and are corrupt, selfish people who would keep an upcoming catastrophe from the public. Why else would they be building these underground cities and bunkers?
All the science is behind the ccataclysm. Its happened on Earth before, many times. Research Sumarian and Babylonian History.
I don’t see the harm in preparing for 2012, which I am doing so. In the mean time I am also preparing for the rest of my life if it doesn’t happen. The cataclysm is estimated to happen December 21, 2012.. however I would think its safe to say the destruction of the earth wont happen on THIS EXACT day, possibly earlier, possibly later.
Point is, look at it with an open mind, search for the truth, (THE GOVERNMENT IS NOT YOUR FRIEND), and use your bullshit detector. People need to know its better to think, than believe. And there is nothing that pisses me off more than people coming to this site in the first place, and wasting every one’s time saying 2012 is all hype and we are stupid for even thinking anything is going to happen to our precious,exploited, diminishing earth, that our leaders aren’t doing a good job taking care of in the first place.
If we don’t perish becuase of galactic alignment and polar shifts.. (which are scientifically proven), the governments (who do a good job brainwashing people and restricting our media) are going to distroy us with nuclear, biological, and chemical war fare. (where are all these super bugs coming from… government testing possibly.. they’re cloning human dna btw)
Anyhow, keep an open mind. And be prepared for .. well the worst possible situation.
I have done a lot of research on this 2012 issue and have come to conclusion that there are basically 2 plausible theories which are
1. The planet X theory
2. The solar flare theory.
The solar flare theory cannot be predicted with exactness hence it would be ludicrous to put a date on it. The orbiting of celestial bodies however is another matter.There is a pattern which allows us some power of prediction.
This patterns however are based on speeds and distances.
No one knows the speed or distance of planet X from us at this point and if this planet was going to collide with or affect our planet in any way it would have become visible to anyone with a telescope. As of today the 30th of August 2010 no one has been able to demonstrate this planet X and from today we have about 843 days to the much talked about date.
At any reasonable speed the planet should be VERY VERY VERY VISIBLE with the aid of simple telescopes but yet nothing.
So while i will not dispute dates and events I will caution that people tread cautiously.
I am Christian and believe that events outlined in the Bible must come to pass and that many of the events would be explained by celestial bodies or solar flares, the 2012 date does not fit with the time scale required for other political events to occur.
This coupled with no visibility of planet X causes me to be skeptical about the 2012 date.
So my advice is this “Be ready for 2012…but then again be ready for a post 2012 media that will downplay anything remotely connected to an end of the world, a coming of Christ etc etc” simply because nothing happened in 2012.
An exactness of dates is not required in these times simply a witnessing of events and an appropriate interpretation of their meanings.
Jesus is coming soon the best preparation is to live a holy life and a life of love to all around you while at the same time praying.

I am not too sure about the 2012 doomsday calendar but the Rothschild Banking Mafia who control our government is planning to create World War Three in which they hope to eliminate 95% of the earth’s population. The USA has built huge underground cities with many connected by underground highways and rail systems for the elite and corrupt political leaders who wish to save their own asses. They have built seed banks throughout the world to store non-hybrid seeds. The Wal-Mart Walton family has built a huge underground complex for their family. Glenn Beck built one as probably most that know what is coming and have millions to spend have done. I bet Oprah has one. Every nation has built underground shelters for it’s leaders and elite. Switzerland has built a shelter large enough for it’s entire population.
This has all been planned and is for sure going to happen. They are going to use nuclear, biological and chemical weapons to eliminate the earths useless eaters, that means you.
Either we take our government back or keep electing the same criminals, the choice is up to us. We don’t have any time left, they are making their move now and we better not let them attack Iran because that is where their plan to start WW3 starts.
These same criminals (Rothschild Mafia) killed JFK, they started the Vietnam “conflict” on a lie, attacked the USS Liberty and many embassies which were kept secret by government and the Rothschild controlled media for 40 years, they attacked us on 9-11 kept the facts of who did it secret and hidden from Americans and blamed Muslims to start wars built on more lies and now they are stealing our nation blind bankrupting us through the Federal Reserve Bank which they own. They have stolen $28 trillion through fractional reserve banking laws in the last two years. Our Senate just killed the audit of the Federal Reserve to cover up the crimes that are being committed by the Rothschild Banking Mafia who controls our government and owns the Federal Reserve and Israel.

Okay. I’ve followed these instructions down to the letter and I’m glad to report that I’ve got one seriously half-decent bunker on my hands. Nothing left to do now but sit back and wait. Until 2012 I’ll probably just keep using it to store children and the bulk of my lawn care equipment that won’t fit in the shed.
this is just stupid.. i dont get the big deal about this. im 16 and im hearing all this bs about 2012. guys. get over it. its probably not going to happen. but who knows? dont waste ur time effort or money doing what im doing.. unless ur really bored and you wanna see how pathetic some people are. no offense. but its dumb to buy a book on how to survive 2012. sigh. if you die you die. if this is what is meant then its meant for us to all die. get over it. go live ur life for the next 2 years instead of wasting it trying to save yourself when it probably wont work. a good shelter would cost to much and goodluck gettin a nice loan to a build a stupid shelter.

I belive that every one will not die but have a chance to servive the changes of the earth…but we have to have the will to servive…..so no matter how much we read books n prepare there will always be a great chance that not going to help us when it happens…so the only way we going to servive if our servivol instict is still attached to us cuz dis happen once before in the ice age era n the humans survive n evoled to us.so I think not all of us going to survive..i think at least 50 to 100 huandred thousand will servive….and one more thing is that we really don’t know what going to happen in 2012 or if u r sure some thing is going to happen?but what u guys think ..am sorry about the spelling

I 100% DO agree with you! Otherwise…what would be the point of getting ready if only the few chosen ones can survive in a first class bunker at an altitude above 6500 feet? The fact is that not everybody has a budget ranging from 50 000 US dollars to 100 000 dollars in order to join a survival group in the Sierra Leone…especially during an obvious recession time.
Secondly…It is NOT everyone getting ready who has had the chance to get informed and to accept the coming events about 5 years ago but mostly lastly…So they are probably short on money to go through a heavy investment However there is still time to get decently ready for many people.
Since April I have completely changed my way of spending money and all my “personal” savings (outside my kids needs) go in completing gradually our survival list and furthermore to learn about survival technics finaly it turns out to be fun & rewarding.

I will be surviving in New York. We live in Central, New york. I don’t have the money to Move to South America, nor Africa. But, where I live, I am more then 3000 ft above sea level. I have Patrick Geryl’s book “How to Survive 2012″ and he really doesn’t give you much hope at all. But, None the less, I have an Ample food supply, now all I need is an underground bunker, because the Military canvas tent I have, just isn’t gonna do. Although, I do know of a government built underground bunker about 6 miles down a dirt road located in Glens Falls, NY. Very few people know about it, but it was one of the Atlas-12 bunkers built during the cold war. Unlike the other 13 or 14, that were sold the people, the government never sold this to anyone, but when the time comes. If it’s not deserted, i guess we’ll have to take it buy force. But, the Atlas-12 bunkers are Large, not as big as the underground cities the government has built, but they offer a chance none the less. For anyone who cannot afford to move to Ireland, or South America, or Africa, I suggest you look into building a bunker in Virginia, the Blue-Ridge Mountains. Edgar Cayce did offer some insight into 2012, and DID Indeed name some of the safe places in the United States, that would survive 2012. I read it myself. And he talks about parts of virginia, and so on. So, to all you fear mongerers out their, that say move out of the United States, also remember there are safe places inside of the United States. Also, remember geryl and Cayce and everyone else who talked about it talked about there being a rapid shift, with huge effecs, but it will all happen within a month, although the effects from some of the catastrophies will have to be dealt with. I don’t believe the world is going to get wiped out down to a couple thousand. More people will survive then you think. I have read Patrick Geryls’ book’s, I have them sitting right in front of me, and I will tell you this much, he is a Fear Mongerer, his belief’s are correct, but he way over play’s the fear. There isn’t going to be a global Deluge like what happened at the Time of Noah. You have to remember the deluge was formed from Tiamat Colliding with the Earth. We are only going to have Tsunami’s to worry about, the entire world isn’t going to Flood or stay flooded. That’s ridiculous. Patrick Geryl pretty much says the only people who will survive will be the people in the High Mountains in South America or the people in Boats. Talking like the whole world is going to get flooded in Water. Well, he is the only one who seems to think that, because nowhere not anywhere in any of my studies have I found someone else or even in prophecy that talks about another Global Deluge, they ONLY talk about Tsunami’s. Which are big waves that can only wash so far in land. No way are they going to flood the entire United States! Volcanoes, and Super Storms, and Cosmis Radiation, now that is another story. Do you wanna know why there will be such a huge catastrophie and so many people will die?? Because 80%, That’s right 80% of the World’s population lives within 200 cities. And And at least 90% of those cities are located along some coastline or another. People who don’t live near volcanoes, or who are at least a thousand miles inland, don’t have to worry about anything except for Firestorms, which a bunker should protect you from, and radiation, or any after effects of the catastrophies, for instance Geryl’s points out pollution from oil, that will be a big one. But, for most of the people who do not live within any of those 200 cities, and do not live close to the coast or volcanoes, you will most likely have to deal with the after effects more then anything. To say every human being except for a select few is going to die in the initial catastrophie is false. People need to get off of these ridiculous subjects, and look at the bigger picture. Look at the evolution of our consciousness. I suggest you read ‘The Gaia Project 2012 The Earth’s Coming Great Changes’ I think that puts 2012 more into perspective then any of Geryl’s books. You’ll realize there is nothing to Fear. Nothing to Fear accept Fear intself.

Check out Patrick Geryl’s website. He has been searching in Africa, in particular, Drakensburg where it’s high enough to withstand the tsunamis. The problem he is having is that most high altitude locations are like National Forest Service land, etc. and can not be bought for our survival camps.
Check out the Zeta reports. All of the U.S. does not appear to be a good place as it’s new location will be under the north pole and will be under a major freeze.
