This is Gerard Le Flamand and I dedicated this blog to prepare for the disastrous events to happen in 2012.7 Reasons why the world can end in 2012
1. Mayan Calendar
The first mob to predict 2012 as the end of the world were the Mayans, a bloodthirsty race that were good at two things:
Building highly accurate astrological equipment out of stone and
Sacrificing Virgins.
Thousands of years ago they managed to calculate the length of the lunar moon as 329.53020 days, only 34 seconds out. The Mayan calendar predicts that the Earth will end on December 21, 2012. Given that they were pretty close to the mark with the lunar cycle, it’s likely they’ve got the end of the world right as well.
2. Sun Storms
Solar experts from around the world monitoring the sun have made a startling discovery: our sun is in a bit of strife. The energy output of the sun is, like most things in nature, cyclic, and it’s supposed to be in the middle of a period of relative stability. However, recent solar storms have been bombarding the Earth with so much radiation energy, it’s been knocking out power grids and destroying satellites. This activity is predicted to get worse, and calculations suggest it’ll reach its deadly peak sometime in 2012..
3. The Atom Smasher
Scientists in Europe have been building the world’s largest particle accelerator. Basically its a 27km tunnel designed to smash atoms together to find out what makes the Universe tick. However, the mega-gadget has caused serious concern, with some scientists suggesting that it’s properly even a bad idea to turn it on in the first place. They’re predicting all manner of deadly results, including mini black holes. So when this machine is fired up for its first serious experiment in 2012, the world could be crushed into a super-dense blob the size of a basketball.
4. The Bible says…
If having scientists warning us about the end of the world isn’t bad enough,religious folks are getting in on the act aswell. Interpretations of the Christian Bible reveal that the date for Armageddon, the final battle between Good an Evil, has been set down for 2012. The I Ching, also known as the Chinese book of Changes, says the same thing, as do various sections of the Hindu teachings.
5. Super Volcano
Yellowstone National Park in the United States is famous for its thermal springs and Old Faithful geyser. The reason for this is simple – it’s sitting on top of the world’s biggest volcano, and geological experts are beginning to get nervous sweats. The Yellowstone volcano has a pattern of erupting every 650,000 years or so, and we’re many years overdue for an explosion that will fill the atmosphere with ash, blocking the sun and plunging the Earth into a frozen winter that could last up to 15,000 years. The pressure under the Yellowstone is building steadily, and geologists have set 2012 as a likely date for the big bang.
6. The Physicists
This one’s case of bog-simple maths mathematics. Physicists at Berekely Uni have been crunching the numbers. and they’ve determined that the Earth is well overdue for a major catastrophic event. Even worse, they’re claiming their calculations prove, that we’re all going to die, very soon – while also saying their prediction comes with a certainty of 99 percent- and 2012 just happens to be the best guess as to when it occurs.
7. Polar Shift
We all know the Earth is surrounded by a magnetic field that sheilds us from most of the sun’s radiation. What you might not know is that the magnetic poles we call north and south have a nasty habit of swapping places every 750,000 years or so – and right now we’re about 30,000 years overdue. Scientists have noted that the poles are drifting apart roughly 20-30kms each year, much faster than ever before, which points to a pole-shift being right around the corner. While the pole shift is underway, the magnetic field is disrupted and will eventually disappear, sometimes for up to 100 years. The result is enough UV outdoors to crisp your skin in seconds, killing everything it touches.

Apparently some of the reasons listed out there have been already disproved like the atom smasher is no longer a threat as it’s first operation proved to be a success rather than ending in a doomsday.If you really believe there is going to be no doomsday in 2012 this info might also interest you “How to survive 2012“.

The Mayans Calender ending in 2012 means nothing. Our calendar ends every 12 months… and we keep getting new years.
Who knows, there maybe a catastrophe in Dec 2012. But no one knows.
In the meantime live life and enjoy.
One thing, the cataclysm will not just come on 21st Dec 2012…without warning. Many things will happen just before the Pole Shift like Planet X being visible in the sky as a red sun with a long tail, a red dust falling on earth from Planet X’s dusty tail, the slowing down of the earth’s rotation and, depending on where you are, you will either experience 3 days of light or 3 days of darkness.
Even I am also watching to see Planet X in the sky…I visit other 2012 forums…we will see it unless we are unlucky to become victims of earthquakes before then. People, be strong. Do not let fear rob you of the opportunity to reason. Even if you are 15, be courageous. Who knows, you might team up with some family and survive the cataclysm.
I hope hunters in Africa die cause all they do is fucking kill jaguars and all that stuff.So god PLEASE JUST MAKE THEM DIE NOT INNOCENT PEOPLE!!!!!
And people watch cause their is another thing South America is moving 2mm closer to Africa AND THATS A FACT!!!!

Kiddo calm down look at it this way if it happens it happens there is now nuttin that you can do we had our chances to change it and save our selves but ppl are to caught up in how to make money and actually live in the life we have left. Us growing as a society and making more money really fucked our way of thinking it aint about religions family life its now all about how to make money just to live and get buy…. so what is there to do nothing but live your life, live it to the fullest do what you want laugh as many times as you can cry to every lil thing you want to cry to Scream as loud as you want visit the places you have always wanted to dont go and through you life away and go all crazy just live it to the fullest enjoy everyday and love the ones who LOVE you not just your friends who will be there for a few yrs but your family loved ones true genuine ppl. DOnt stress sweety just know it may or may not come and the only way to survive it is to live your life just like you want DONT REGRET NE THING
Well im only 15 & im scared Shitless i hope this is not true, i cant sleep sometimes im so scared
i think about it each and every day from the moment i wake up to the moment i go to sleep, im even starting to question my religion, like if there is even a heaven and hell? if theres a god? im scared like a motha fuka, i shouldent have to stress like this, i should be liveing my life to the fullest and not having to worry about this shit. i even cryed cause im so scared. 
the eruption of yellowstone would cause a shut down of the earths magnetic field..and thats expected to erupt in 2012.
the whole earth depends on the united states as a major food supplier and the american dollar to survive.
if yellowstone erupts..the whole world is basically screwed,and anarchy will rein as governments fall.
people better start getting prepared and store food to last a couple years at least..hope im not around to see it though,what a mess its gonna be.
i dont know what to believe. to me if the bible and every other important book says that something Big is going to happen then THAT is their prediction. if that is the case then we ALL should be free from everything and live our own life!!!!!!!!!!
if any of you actually looked up information about this there were many prophets that point their fingers to 2012 and not only prophets but whole civilizations like the mayans. Great catholic churches BEFORE CHRIST and after have hidden engraved warnings of 2012 they dont specifically say 2012 the engraved warnings but they all point to our solar system and galaxy alignment. which if any of you knew is DEC. 2012. Also prophets from central america have stated once the great american nations elect a black president that will start then end of the world which the end of his term will be the end of the world which take 4 yrs to 2008 its 2012, as well as the bible warning us of mass floods and weather change, go to an web site that contains the past few years of weather, earth quakes, floods and global earth warming and see what you all think then…. Without being superstitious, and certainly not religious…maybe spiritual…something is about to happen. There is so little we know and even less time to find out what is this universe about. Our egocentric behavior places us humans at the middle of the existence…and we believe there is a god (whichever religion) that looks over us humans. How naive can we be to believe our own lies…only one reason: we need to believe in something/have a reason to exist/not take our own lives. The unknown that is associated with death is what freaks out many of us…a new cataclysm (yes, not the first one) is too scary to imagine! And if this happens, those who do survive don’t have much cheerful to look forward to. I personally like to look at it as the next step in evolution, moving us up the ladder to a new level of consciousness. This also explains the existence of Indigo Children… I know that I will prepare for the worst…whether peoplecall me crazy or not…it doesn’t hurt!
Nah. There have been so many predictions and none of them came to be true.
As am optimist, I’d prefer to think it might be the beginning of a new era. A mass awakening or something.
Having said that, none of the supposed apocalyptic stuff for 2000 panned out, so maybe people have just chanced on the next ‘significant’ date they could find…

Who knows…they say that the world is gonna end or idk..they also say that every thing is gonna turn pitch black and its gonna be weeks that your not gonna be able to go outside or turn the light on its gonna be really dark and if you do then your going to hell..idk that’s what they all say..
It seems from so many indepandant sources, from the ancient myans, to merlin, to nostradamus, to an finacial data web crawler, there is going to be cataclymic event in 2012 thougths.
