Three years ago, Patrick Geryl, in the age of 51, leave his job as a laboratory employee for a French oil company. He’d saved up just enough money to last him until December 2012. After that, he thought, he wouldn’t need it anyway.
He founded a “survival group” for on the same wave length people, aimed at living through the apocalypses he knows are coming.
He started gathering materials necessary to survive — water purifiers, wheelbarrows (with spare tires), dust masks and vegetable seeds. His list of survival goods runs 11 pages long.
That’s because Geryl truly believes in the end of the world in 2012. He points to the ancient Maya cyclical calendars, the longest of which last renewed itself approximately 5,125 years ago and is set to end again, supposedly with catastrophic consequences, in 2012. He speaks of the ancient Egyptians, who, he claims, saw 2012 as a year of great change too. And he points to science: NASA predicts a sharp increase in the number of sunspots and sun flares for 2012, he said, sure to cause electrical failures and satellite disruptions. So what is going to happen?
• a polar reversal will cause the north to become the south and the sun to rise in the west
• shattering earthquakes
• massive tidal waves
• simultaneous volcanic eruptions
• nuclear reactors will melt
• buildings will crumble
• a cloud of volcanic dust will block out the sun for 40 years
Only the prepared will survive, and not even all of them. Thousands of people worldwide seem to be preparing, in one way or another, for the end of days in 2012. Survival groups exist in Europe, Canada and the United States. Geryl and his Belgian and Dutch followers have similar intentions, though their plan will take them much farther from home. They are looking to buy a plot of land high up in African mountains, where they’ll be able to withstand the monstrous tidal waves and wait out the cloud of volcanic dust that they said would block out the sun.

I my self think it is comming soon. 2012 seems to be a very good prodiction. I my self store ammo and can goods along with bottaled water and water purifiers. Not saying this will save me and my family but i think there should be more groups in all states that stand together on this and help each other. God knows that this is a very bad time on all people for most the poor and middle class if there is a middle class any more. But there should be a group for all to join to put these things together and help each other to get ready. God knows the goverment is not going to help us or tell us when it is comming. It is all up to us guys and girls. So lets stick together and start making groups in all states. Me I am from North Carolina. The foot Hills and that is were i will head to. You should also prepare yourself for the worst thing that can happen. While it is not advisable to panic, it would be useful if you can at least prepare yourself from natural disasters such storms, floods and earthquakes. I too have had visions and deep inner feelings/dreams,astrial
projections. I have been lecturing and begging my friends to listen for years. I have reacuring nightmeres that i am begging people to please listen and to run for their lives and that all of this is true and we can survive if we…first believe and also disbelieve almost anything our government has told us. The truth will be revealed …..but most likely it will already be too late.

I live in southern Oregon. 2 kids not alot of money but im willing to put every last dime into my kids and myself surviving

i am not totaly sold on 2012 yes i belive we all should be preparen for the worse and do think its coming. sold on the date and year no… but with out dought know its comen i am currently buiding a ark for my family .. i was raised my whole life that this was coming. my grand mother raised me to beliven it would be in my life time.. maybe not hers but she to the day she passed away was convcived it was coming .. dont put your faith in the govment we all know they lie to control the mass’es .. always have and always will.. prepare your self and your family.. god gaves us the tools and wisdom to prepare.. not to prepare and putting your total faith in him to do it all is crazy… he gave you enough since to know better than to jump in the street in front of a car and expect him to stop the car.. he gave you the brains and tools theres

I have a friend of mine who has a recurring vivid dream since she was a young girl during which she always pictures herself in a devastated world while being forced to hide in a cave.
She`s a very well balanced person and extremely far of being crazy, However she is not that much into the 2012 doomsday scenario but consider it plausible.
