Time is running out and a few companies such as Vivos have dedicated their efforts to building and selling space within survival bunkers. There certainly is a market for it and people who can afford it are gladly coughing up the dough to secure a seat in one of the bunkers for what is expected to be the most sensational event in recent history.

California-based company Vivos is providing you and about 4,000 other people the chance to survive the end of the world. The company plans to build a network of 20 shelters near most major cities of the US. Each 20,000-square-foot shelter, which can hold up to 200 people, would be located about five stories underground with walls two to three feet thick. The shelters would be stocked with a year’s supply of “gourmet foods,” as well as medical and dental centers and – as seen in the video below – flat-screen TVs.
Each shelter costs about $10 million to build, and Vivos is selling space in the price range of about $50,000 per person. So far, about 1,000 applications have been received for space in the shelters.
Once a certain number of applications have been received and candidates selected for a shelter location, Vivos will begin construction of the shelter. When completed, ownership will be turned over to the Vivos Owners’ Association, where the owners would be responsible for security and maintenance, contributing their own skills and expertise to ensure the long-term survival of the shelter. Vivos hopes to complete construction and commissioning of the nationwide network by December 21, 2012 (the end of the Mayan calendar, which is also a countdown clock on Vivos’ website).
As Vivos founder Robert Vicino explains, the shelters can withstand almost any global disaster that you might think of. Nuclear attacks, bio terrorism, chemical warfare, super volcano eruptions, asteroids, solar flares, tsunamis, earthquakes, pole shifts, the return of Planet X, social and political anarchy – all have the potential to wipe out humanity but could be survived by living in a Vivos shelter. In addition, Vivos notes that the end of the world has been predicted throughout history by such influential forces as the Mayans, Nostradamus, and the Bible. From such omens arises Vivos’ motto: “You can’t predict, but you can prepare.”
In addition to sparing the lives of 200 people, each shelter will also become a DNA depository, according to Vivos. Universities are invited to submit DNA samples of every living thing on Earth, along with seeds, which will be stored in refrigerated vaults. As Vivos’ website explains, “This will assure the greatest chance of future restoration of the world as we know it, regardless of the catastrophe. Vivos may prove to be the next ‘Genesis’ for Earth and a new beginning for Life.” The vaults will also contain off-road vehicles and hunting and fishing equipment for when returning to the surface.
Vivos, which is a privately funded venture with no religious affiliations, adds one more remark that might concern people: the world’s governments are already building underground shelters for the elite, leaving the rest of us to fend for ourselves.

Deeogee1–I hear ya. Where bouts do you live? I’m in the Volunteer State… very small rural community of mostly old timers who aren’t too interested in pooling resources/prepping/comunal efforts. I plan to finish putting up my garden and keep trying to connect with other locals here in the state who are of like mind…got a real fine mountain right down the road, lots of caves and good clean water…don’t have a lot of money, but ‘know-how’ has got to count for something, right? Let me know if anyone responds to your question, and if you are here in TN, holler back…we got folks to find!
How easy is to blame God or wait on God or just do nothing about anything thinking that there is something or someone out there that can help us- What if there is not God?.. Are you basing your future on an old book written by whoknowswho long time ago?.. very smart!
My idea is, life is suffering as it is- if you don’t care about what may happen and don’t want to live on survival mode struggling for the rest of your life then do absolute nothing. If you do want to continue, then don’t wait- get out and start doing something about it NOW- time is running out.
My belief coincides with the Kolbrin Bible. Earth is a place for instruction of the soul. Hard times make the soul stronger. Human/animalistic drives are hard to overcome, making the soul even stronger. Life on earth is not about how easily you can live, but is about the struggles you face. Struggle & conflict is what gives you character and makes you strong. Without it, you may as well be a couch potatoe living for nothing but greed. If you look at life in this regard, it makes a lot more sense.
Think about eternal life for instance. If your short time on earth is merely a “boot camp” for the soul, why would you want to bypass all the instruction? 50-80 years is a tiny grain of sand compared to eternity.
Suck it up. Look at 2012 as a struggle; a challenge and do the best you can. Find some high ground above 7000ft and bury goods at that level. Rice & beans dont cost very much when purchased in 50lb bags. Try to teach your kids how to grow beans (dont need much sunlight) and give them the will to survive. It took 7 days for the oceans to stop moving in the last deluge. 52 years for the sun to come out! That’s 3 generations that will have to survive with what is left after the storms blow everything away.
What you have left is what God wanted the world to be. A savage garden that gives the soul great instruction on humility.

We should stop fretting and start living, enjoy life while you still can. Your life could be taken in an instant, so love and support the ones close to you now!
There’s nothing wrong with preparing for a natural disaster such as the recent earthquake in Japan. Everyone should try to have the proper emergency supply kit on hand including food, fresh water and medical supplies.
No one has to rush out and clear the shelves of the local grocery store to have an emergency food supply. Instead, simply buy a little at a time, as your budget will allow.
Learning basic survival skills would be an asset to you and the ones you love in the event a natural disaster.
Enjoy this time learning basic survival skills together with your loved ones.
I never got response to what hsppens if your poor living on a fixed incomei who dont have the money for these expensive bunkers. i believe in jesus and he wont let his believers followers perish. if something was to happen the rapture must take place first before any doomday profecy happen its in the bible if you beleive in jesus

i guess the well to do people with lots of money are the only ones going to survive. But what about the poor people living on a fixed income whether its ssi ssd welfare i guess us poor peole dont matter. for me i believe in jesus hes my savior i pray i go to heaven with the rest of my family.

I do believe in 2012 but i mean if GOD wants us 2 die then so be it 2012 is in like about 3 years unless u have money saved up or u win the lottery how r u gonna buy a “safe” bunker. Itll also take like 3-5 months before there done implanting it in the ground by then BAM!

Hello all who realize the terrible truht about our future
I think you need to realise we face a poleshift in 2012. this is our biggest danger, scentific data suggest it too. The danish magnetic obsever satelite Ørsted has detected rather precise meassurements of the planets magneticfield since 99. This shows a wandering magnetic pole surgesting a poleshift is eminent.
I think you need to build pyramids as bunkerstypes. The mayan and the egyptians was trying to tell us something about surviving into the next age. This structure will be very resistant towards earthquarkes´, flooding, extreme heat and cold.
I have the finance to build be myself but don`t want to survive for myself only. I think you could survive at least 5 year on about 100.000 dollars fore 3-5 persons. Are there anybody else outther who thinks this is not entirely insane, let me know.

I was just reading some of the comments regarding the coming calmity, and I have some options I’d like to offer. What about going under the water in a submarine? Did you know that the water under the surface is more tranqual than the surface during storms and earthquakes and such. They can hold a good number of people and offer protection from any disaster and can stay submerged for long periods of time before needing to surface. The second option envolves our good old friends in the government, who takes so much of our hard earned money. For years NASA, has run a secret space program along side the Apolo Space program. A secret astronaut corp of men that utilize space craft that have been back engineered from alien space craft technology, and have already been to many different places in our known univers. It seems to me unfair that such technology exsists and is paid for by us but somehow is unavailable. How do I know about this? Ask a person named John Lear, son of the man who invented the Lear Jet. He is an ex Air Force pilot and has flown for many differnt outfits. He has come forward with information concerning the governments black operation budgets and secret projects like manned electrogrivitic machines that are now in the possession of these black ops. If we ask questions we are told to mind our own business and if we witness an event that we shouldn’t have seen we are threatened or bribed to keep quiet about it. When are we going to take a stand for our rights? That is perhaps more pressing that the coming disaster. In any event, we have some serious choices to make but if we don’t make them soon, it will be too late any way. Indecision is our worst enemy. So if we can get them to disclose to us this information and allow us to use it, then many lives could be saved..But they don’t care about how lives are saved because we are dumb sheep in their eyes. Hope that some day soon, before it’s too late this technology will be made available to us for good purposes instead of the greed it’s used for now…

DNA depository?!?!?! A person doesn’t need DNA to survive. In fact, the only reason that they want DNA deposits is to build up a clone army! With the DNA of so much people and animals, the Vivos company will be able to take over the world – or so they think…
Luckily, I am here. If need be, I will take care of them and will destroy their clone army. I have some alien friends that are in the nearby space, so I can call upon them to help me take care of the evil Vivos company. I can also take action before they come, because I am not called a mad scientist for nothing!
However, it would be much better for us, as a humanity, to prevent that army from even starting to arise- after all, if they do arise, we will have to fight them, and thus people would die, on our side as on theirs. Instead, I beg of you people not to even go there, because anything you do is potentially a DNA donation to them, even if accidental.
I understand that you people are anxious and so want to have bunkers. However, some people take advantage of human tragedies, – Vivos, in example – so you have to take care not to be duped by people of their likes.
I, for one, know that we people won’t need bunkers! In fact, the whole world will be destroyed by a few factors, which will be too much for Earth to take, and everything on it will be, in one way or another, leveled to the ground. After all, it is the aliens that will save the Chosen Ones, leaving the others – including all of the non-believers and ignorants – to their tragic fate.
On the other side, it is not as much a tragic fate that they die, since they are not useful to the development of the world. For example, yes, they develop new technologies that seemingly contribute to the advance of civilization, but we are nothing – NOTHING, I SAY! – if we do not take into consideration the end of the world in 2012, all will be destroyed! We have to develop technology compatible with the relocation of Humanity!
Maybe you do not understand what I mean by relocation of Humanity, so I will just briefly explain what I mean. The Relocation of Humanity will happen when, in 2012, the aliens will take the Chosen Ones. We will be then placed on a new planet, to start Earth anew. The planet, as understandable, will be called Second Earth.
Now that I have touched all the themes I wanted (I wrote them on paper then touched them with my ring finger – why ring finger, I cannot explain for sure) I shall go.

Good day Doomsday Survivalists, I think you have a great idea here altho’ it’s sad to know that only a select few will actually survive. One thing I read about the Shelter that I’m concerned about, you state that you’ll have enough supplies to survive on for a year….but what happens after that year?
I mean it’s not like you can go to the local store, when supplies run out, and get groceries, right?
I feel that people will be only extending there time on earth for one year, after the disaster. Then I fear that all those folks down there might end up dying anyway. I also have to say that after what some scientists’ are saying about what will occur i.e. a 30,000 ft. wall of water rushing all over our planet due to the shift of the planet, are you really sure that being underground in a huge bucket will be a safe place? Can the doors’ to each Shelter sustain the weight and power of a 30,000 ft. tidalwave?
Don’t get me wrong…I’m just as scared as anyone else is about this, it breaks my heart knowing that our beautiful planet might not be there after 12/21/2012. It just seems all wrong that we are about to be wiped out of existence. I wish you the best of luck with your project, I’m sad to say that myself and my family can’t be there…we don’t have $50,000 each.
And after being underground for the 10 years it’s going to take before it’s safe to come up to the surface again, you’ll probably be living in the dark ages again…if you are, please don’t be as backwards as those folks were back then ok?
But in the event that our planet is NOT destroyed by what is about to occur in 2012, what do you plan on doing about all those people that donated all that money to you? I bet they’ll be asking about a refund.
