Economic Crisis Predicted

How is it that so many people were taken by surprise with the current global economic meltdown? Besides apparent signs, this fatal collapse was also predicted by some authors like Patrick Geryl did in his book published in 1999 “The World Cataclysm in 2012“.

In our previous post you can see a direct correlation between the fall of the USD, the global economy and the value of Gold. According to Geryl, who wrote about this in detail in his book, all of this was clearly foreseeable and even more, he describes in detail what is coming between now and the cataclysmic event at the end of 2012.

Here is an extract of his book where Geryl describes the current growing global malaise. Patrick Geryl wrote this in his book (10 years ago) “The World cataclysm in 2012“:

“Chapter 16

Let me describe our possible future in the following analysis:

After the overload of stock exchange excesses of the previous century and the beginning of the 21st century, the world was in an economical recession during the last years before the “End.” Despite these difficult economical times, I had succeeded with a bit of luck and perseverance to dig up the Labyrinth with its “Circle of Gold.” As a result, the discoveries of earlier wisdom cults were on the front pages of all newspapers in the world. In great disbelief people were looking at the thirty-six hieroglyphs with its calculations of the previous catastrophe date and the one of 2012. To many people this was not unexpected, but still, to the whole world population it had a catastrophic effect. The fear of the forthcoming polar shift petrified the thinking and acting of many. Soon thereafter the world economy collapsed. The prices of goods reached rock bottom after rock bottom. Shortly before the catastrophe the economical recession changed into an unmatched depression. Neither politicians nor economists were able to change things for the better. Many branches in economy could not catch up with their business, like for instance construction companies. What was the use of building, many wondered? Our world has no future anymore. Others, who in previous years had decided to have children, wanted to unrestrictedly postpone this. The production of goods decreased alarmingly. The continents were tormented with hunger and social commotion. The number of suicides and murders increased tremendously. The shares stayed at a low notation, at a far distance of their historic high point. However, there was one exception. In ancient civilizations, gold and diamonds had always proved their value. After the reversal of the earth with its crash, money would be worthless. Everybody realized that. So they all threw themselves massively on gold and diamonds, which resulted in an extensive rise of the prices. In a world where there was no more hope, this was one of the few targets left to occupy themselves with. For the rest, lawlessness and anarchy were on top.

In the meantime, protests against the nuclear power plants, chemical factories and oil installations reached a climax. A flood of people raised their voice against the buildings that would change the earth into a nuclear holocaust and chemical dump.

Already several plants and factories had been shut down because of the collapsed economies. And yet, a dramatically big amount was still there. Too many to keep the world safe from the Armageddon. Finally, after massive pressure, just before the catastrophic date, these were shut down too. For a couple of days millions of people were thrown back into the Stone Age, but of one thing they were certain. The world would continue to exist. Maybe not with them, but they were reconciled with this. For them, the prophecy of the “Total End” was unacceptable. Hence their nearly endless drive of self-sacrifice.”
