Tsunami Survival Tips:
First of all be aware of tsunami facts. This knowledge could save your life in case of megatsunami in Dec 2012 or in case of any disaster.
Develop an evacuation plan: an evacuation plan must be prepared in advance to be of use. In developing one, consider your family, your workplace, your school and your wider community. If you are at home and hear there is a tsunami warning, you should make sure you entire family is aware of the warning.
Move! Move in an orderly, calm and safe manner to the evacuation site or to any safe place outside your evacuation zone. Follow the advice of local emergency and law enforcement authorities. Never go down to the beach to watch for a tsunami!
WHEN YOU CAN SEE THE WAVE YOU ARE TOO CLOSE TO ESCAPE.
Tsunamis can move faster than a person can run. If you are at the beach or near the ocean and you feel the earth shake, move immediately to higher ground.
DO NOT wait for a tsunami warning to be announced. Stay away from rivers and streams that lead to the ocean as you would stay away from the beach and ocean if there is a tsunami. A regional tsunami from a local earthquake could strike some areas before a tsunami warning could be announced. Tsunamis generated in distant locations will generally give people enough time to move to higher ground. For locally generated tsunamis, where you might feel the ground shake, you may only have a few minutes to move to higher ground. A tsunami is not a single wave, but a series of waves.
Approaching large tsunamis are usually accompanied by a loud roar that sounds like a train or aircraft. If a tsunami arrives at night when you cannot see the ocean, this is also nature’s tsunami warning and should be heeded. A small tsunami at one beach can be a giant a few miles away. The upper floors of these hotels can provide a safe place to find refuge should there be a tsunami warning and you cannot move quickly inland to higher ground.
Homes and small buildings located in low lying coastal areas are not designed to withstand tsunami impacts. Do not stay in these structures should there be a tsunami warning. Offshore reefs and shallow areas may help break the force of tsunami waves, but large and dangerous waves can still be threat to coastal residents in these areas. Staying away from all low-lying coastal areas is the safest advice when there is a tsunami warning.
Climb a sturdy tree. As a very last resort, if you find yourself trapped and unable to move inland or climb a high building, find a strong and tall tree and climb up it as high as you can. There is a risk of trees being dragged under by the tsunami, however, so this really is a measure to be used only if all other alternatives have been rendered useless. The stronger the tree, the higher it will allow you to climb and the sturdier its branches for resting on (you may be there for hours) and the better chances you will have of surviving.
React quickly if you are caught up in the water. If you did not manage to evacuate but find yourself caught up in the tsunami for one reason or another, there are things that you can do to try and survive: take something that floats. Use a floating object as a raft to keep you above the water. Items that float such as tree trunks, doors, fishing equipment etc. may be in the water with you.
Share this knowledge with your relatives and friends. Teach children to recognize the signs of an impending tsunami. Think how to prepare yourself and survive the very possible global catastrophe in 2012. The begining of the post is here “How to Survive Mega Tsunami in Dec 2012 – Part 1″

He made the world, he RULES it! There was no fire or earthquake,
the next day! They just want your MONEY! They should have
never made that 2012 Movie! That is probably where it came
from! I’m following God’s rule! 1. People don’t know everything,
or what’s going to happen in the future, nobody does, not even
Jesus, or his parents, or Satan (He’s the opposite of God). ONLY
God knows what his going to happen when and at the exact time!
So I’m being truthful! NOBODY KNOWS!

Hi all first of all noboday really knows what’s gonna happen in 2012 only Allah knows
the second thing is if God wants it to happen it’s gonna happen either we like it or not everybody dies at some time:), and the third and most important thing is we all have to have good faith in God and he’ll plus your good deads and prayers will get you through anything .. So don’t kill your self by thinking about tomorrow cause tomorrow is in Mighty Allah hands 
and thank God for that so live your life a day at a time and always pray to God to have mercy on us for he is Merciful always .. Think positive don’t listen to those crazy people with there negative blogs .. God bless you all and have a good day at a time 
Great piece, but I have had dreams which indicate a more serious future realm….
At the outset, I am no crank so to speak and, do not beleive in totality in the iching, Mayan prophecies etc – I do however feel that (perhaps coincidentally??) such prophecies indicate a time of great change on earth. I am a learned person (social sciences) but have no interest in astrology or the various intricate doomsday theories that abound..
What I can say, is that some years ago i dreamt of a disaster whereby I was viewing massive floods from my farmhouse roof in South Africa – deep blue ocean-like waters. In the past I have also had visions of tragedies involving persons (often unknown to me) in our smallish rural community – all have come to pass in exact detail.
What frightened me most however was a vivid dream i had about 3 years ago of literally thousands of chariot-like vessels that seemed stationed in the upper-reaches of our skies – at different altitudes. In short, these massive vessels seemed like wagon wheels with capsule-type structures in the centre areas. Literally 2 weeks later i dreamed of massive fire balls being unleashed on our town (Queenstown, South Africa).
When I consider the recent Japanese Tsunami, the floods in Oz and South Africa, and the deep freeze that many parts of Europe experienced; along with the mass revolution encapsulating the Arab world, I am of the opinion that we are staring a very different and potentially-hostile world in the face.
I beleive that the earth is gearing itself up for massive restructuring:-
1. Yellow Stone national park is gearing up to go at any point now, this will change life on earth forever as we undergo a polar winter as the ash blanket covers our son for decades,
2. I beleive most mega faults in the earth’s crust will start playing-up and Japan proves this – is the USA next?
3. Global disasters are going to impact on already-vulnerable governments in terms of food aid with a snowball effect in terms of societal stability – are we not heading for an era where massive areas will fall into anarchy?
4. Are we not perhaps going to be the generation that learns first hand of other inter-galactic life forms which may not come in friendship?
I think the world is fast-changing and we need to be prepared…just as once upon a time you would’ve been labelled a maniac to argue that the earth is round, I think that one can only be naive to live with blinkers where you take and accept everything at face value!
Omg! How are we gonna live! We cant hide under a tree. The attic neither a basement? Why do the predictions have to come true!

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG I am deathly afraid of tsunamis or any kind of wave that is taller than me is it really going to happen? Is it? Is it? I don’t really know if 2012 is going to happend but I don’t like the tsunami part I would rather die of an earthquake! Where is it going to happen? Please don’t say Seattle, Washington! What I’d do to survive is get and airplane and fly over the tsunami. You should get the plane well before 12-21-12! Why does it have to end on 12-21-12? Why not 12-12-12? There’s nothing psecial about THAT day!

Listen, for someone who knows this, the world has been fine for a longgggg time. Hasnt ended. 2012 is the end of CIVILIZATION! Not the world. This has happened before. Maybe 1000 years ago, But think about the mayans themselves. They Disapeared instantly. The end of civilization!

A few points from someone who foresees.
Get the time, at least the year. (It will be 2014)
Get the location. (The equatorial Pacific due south of California.)
How big? (On the Richter scale, 14)
What causes it? (emergence of a huge island)
What else will happen? (Beyond the high probability of wiping out most of the Pacific rim, comes subsidences along the west coasts of North and South America, some 1200 feet initially although it will take years for it to be fully realized. Then in a second event another subsidence of 200 feet.)
And this is the tip of the veritable iceberg.
