October will be the month prior to the release of the blockbuster movie ‘2012′ which is the highly anticipated story of how the world will end in about 3 years. The story of the movie seems to be based on the work of Patrick Geryl who has written several books resulting from his many years of research on the topic (see http://store.2012pro.com/ebooks.htm).
Sony has planned an epic effort to alert audiences that its disaster pic “2012″ is coming, readying the largest marketing “roadblock” ever for a movie in the form of a two-minute sequence from the actioner that will air simultaneously on 450 TV outlets in North America on October 1st.
The stunt will put the footage in front of 90% of all households watching ad-supported TV, or nearly 110 million viewers. When combined with online and mobile streams, that could increase to more than 140 million.
With the curiosity of 2012 rising daily, it is generally expected that a spike in interest may raise the global awareness of what seems to be upon us in only a few years time. Some have predicted that the broadening of the awareness on the subject may harm the global economy in a way that more and more ’sane’ people will follow and start preparing for the announced disaster by quiting their job, selling all their belongings, withdrawing all their savings and move on to investing in a safe haven, survival equipment and enough food supplies to last a few years until the dust settles and it is safe to come out of their shelters again.
Studios are increasingly favoring roadblocks as a way to generate as much exposure as possible for their pricey tentpoles. But they’re often done by distribs with close ties to a conglom like NBC Universal that owns networks or TV stations. 2012 is big business to Sony and many other trying to make a dime or two on the subject. Those phenomenons are like to increase in quantity just like mushrooms growing fast.
Earlier on this blog you could already watch two of the official trailers of the movie. Soon you will be able to witness the entire story in your favorite theater. Whether you will be affected by the movie or not is really not up to you because many other people will take action and this will indirectly impact each person alive.

I KNEW THE DATE, BUT I DID NOT KNOW THAT IT WOULD BE NEW YORK CITY. BUT MY PREMONITION CAME TRUE, AND I FEEL THE SAME ABOUT DEC. 21, 2012. I HOPE THIS WIPES OUT ABOUT 85% OF THE PLANET WILL BE DESTROYED OF THE POPULATION OF PEOPLE. THAT SOUNDS ABOUT RIGHT.
