According to NASA the current eruption of Iceland volcano Eyjafjallajokull could just be the precursor of a much bigger disaster: big brother volcano Katla who over the past eruptions each time has erupted as a follower to Eyjafjallajokull. In fact, over the past thousand years, Eyjafjallajokull has erupted only three times: in 920, in 1612 and in 1823. Each time Katla erupted a little time after and caused much more devastation than what we have seen over the past week.

The stunt will put the footage in front of 90% of all households watching ad-supported TV, or nearly 110 million viewers. When combined with online and mobile streams, that could increase to more than 140 million.

The reason for this unprecedented warning, these reports state, are the rapid formations of “geomagnetic storms” emanating from the boundaries of the African Tectonic Plate that due to their intensity have caused the loss of two major passenger aircraft during the past month leaving nearly 300 men, women and children dead.
